Lab Safety

Lab safety is incredibly important to us and is top of mind in everything we do. We have a safety officer to help us to evaluate risks. We have also been among the leaders of the DIY-Bio movement in considering safety issues.

BUGSS is a Biosafety Level 1 lab. Anything not currently in the lab will need to be approved by our Safety officer before being brought into the lab.
